I had previously tried a Philips superautomatic (doesn't matter which, they'll all be about the same in terms of the nature of their limitations), and was pretty disappointed by the lack of espresso that, well, tasted like espresso. I love the machine and echo what many others have said about its performance and features. My reason for writing a review relates to their customer service, which some have critiqued here. My experience could not have been better. I bought some lightly-roasted beans from a local roaster. This machine is great when it works. I’ve had it for 9 days and, while frothing the milk, everything shuts down, not once, but multiple times. I’m extremely disappointed as I had done research looking for a reliable machine. This had such good reviews that I didn’t feel worrisome about the purchase. I’m returning it for a full refund.
