How do you choose which machines to include?
We start from models with real sales volume and reviews on Amazon.com within the espresso-machine niche, covering the different types (manual, semi-automatic, super-automatic and capsule).
Where do the specifications come from?
From the Amazon product listing (spec table, feature bullets and manufacturer description). When a value is missing or ambiguous, we complete it from the manufacturer's official site or specialized reviews — we never invent it.
What is the “editor's rating”?
A 0-10 score per criterion (pressure, power, capacity, ease of use, versatility and value for money) that we compute by comparing each model against the rest of the catalog. It is not a manufacturer spec.
